Giada Showcases Server Solutions at Big Data Expo 2018
Guiyang, China, May 26 —Giada, a leading provider of embedded PCs, embedded motherboards, server and storage appliances, showcased its latest servers and the relevant solutions at the Big Data Expo 2018, held in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, from May 26 to 29.
A total of 388 exhibitors attended the expo, among which 129 are international companies, such as Facebook, Google, Alibaba, Tencent, Foxconn, Huawei and DELL. These well-known big data enterprises at home and abroad displayed the latest technology and application in big data research and practice at the Expo. China’s President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the Expo, emphasizing that China attaches great importance to the development of big data industry.
During the expo, Giada displayed its latest servers and related solutions, including private cloud solution, virtualization solution and smart video analysis system, which are well-received in applications of virtualization, enterprises storage and smart city construction. Giada’s booth in Hall 5 has attracted numerous enthusiastic visitors.
Data cloud becomes more and more important for enterprises as their data is increasing significantly in nowadays. Giada’s virtualization solution, adopting a new desktop model based on converged infrastructure, can help users deploy business management network quickly through integration of virtualization servers, switches and thin clients.
Giada’s demo on site was based on its server CRS2318H, which carries the storage, management and allocation work of all the data files. It can help optimize business management and improve security for enterprises by centralized management, unified deployment, regular data backup and distance management of clients. It changes the situation of traditional complex client management, scattered data storage and lack of safe and unified management.
CRS2318H, which is appealing during the expo, is a virtualization server of high density, with up to 6 nodes in 2U standard cabinet. It supports Xeon E3 processors and has 24 slots for DDR4/2400MHz, suitable for applications in virtualization, IoT, digital industry, smart home and security industry.
The server supports up to 24 bay of 2.5’’ disks, SATA DOM or USB DOM and adopts M.2 (PCIe3.0 and SATA) port. These features satisfy enterprises’ demand for large-volume and high-performance storage. Meanwhile, the server, adopting module design and supporting redundancy and hot plug, is easy to be maintained and managed.
