The Giada IM1-9931 is powered by a 1.7GHz Cortex™-A55 NXP i.MX 93 processor, which features an energy-flex architecture. This processor employs a heterogeneous multicore design, offering either single-core or dual-core ARM® Cortex™-A55 cores that can run up to 1.7 GHz, along with an ARM® Cortex™-M33 real-time processor operating at up to 250 MHz. At its maximum performance of 1.7 GHz, the processor consumes just 1.7W. Furthermore, the i.MX 93 processors integrate advanced security capabilities through the EdgeLock® secure enclave, facilitating energy-efficient edge computing.

The compact SMARC module features integrated LPDDR4x on-board memory, on-board eMMC storage of up to 64GB and dual LAN ports. These capabilities enhance end-to-end communication and provide faster data transmission with low latency, making it ideal for automation and industrial control applications.

The Giada IM1-9931 offers a range of interfaces tailored for embedded applications, including GPIO extension, USB 2.0, CAN-FD, single-channel LVDS and MIPI-DSI for display, and MIPI-CSI for camera connectivity. An on-board wireless module is available as an assembly option. These compact modules, measuring 82 x 50 mm, are designed to operate within an extended temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
