Upgrading Existing Industrial Systems with Edge AI
 
A key highlight was the Giada LH707 embedded computer paired with the LM2-100 AI accelerator module. Built on the RK3588 platform, the solution combines system control and multi-stream video processing with up to 25 TOPS of additional AI computing power.
 
During live demonstrations, the system processed 32 video streams for applications such as human and vehicle detection, behavior recognition, and workpiece classification. By leveraging an existing M.2 Key B+M slot, customers can add AI acceleration without replacing their entire industrial computer, helping reduce deployment costs and upgrade time.


 
Bringing AI Models Closer to Industrial Operations
 
Giada also demonstrated the potential of standalone industrial edge computers to run local AI model inference. With features such as wide-temperature operation, PoE support, multiple network and serial ports, fanless designs, and modular AI expansion, Giada's embedded platform LDF310 support flexible deployment across industrial environments.
