Giada BQ612, Alder Lake Rich Client for Edge Computing
Giada recently has launched a new rich client for truly powerful processing, BQ612. With Intel's 12th Gen Alder Lake hybrid architecture and Intel UHD graphics, Giada BQ612 can deliver incredible clarity for 4K/60P UHD resolution. It can also support 8K (optional).
The rich client is ideal for edge computing, digital signage, design automation, kiosks and other text- and graphics-intense applications.
Alder Lake processors
Based on the latest 10nm architecture and H610/B660 chipset, Giada BQ612 is designed for Intel® 12th Gen processors in the LGA1700 socket. The 12th Gen Intel® processors feature performance hybrid architecture.
This revolutionary chip design integrates up to eight Performance-cores, or P-cores, and up to eight Efficient-cores, or E-cores. The Alder Lake processors drive up to 1.36x times faster in single-thread performance and up to 1.35x times faster in multi-thread performance vs. 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors.
Up to 8K display
Equipped with Intel® UHD Graphics, Giada BQ612 is capable of driving content that is fluent and stutter-free in 4K UHD. It supports two displays via an HDMI (Max. 4096 x 2304 @60 Hz) and a VGA. It can support 8K display through DisplayPort (optional).
Rich I/O
Giada BQ612 also features numerous I/O ports, including six USB2.0, two USB3.2 and one USB-C, as well as two LAN ports. With a microswitch, it can detect the removal of the computer cover: A security breach can be reported immediately.
Windows 11& Wi-Fi 6
Giada BQ612 is compatible with Windows 11 (64bit), Windows 10 (64bit) and Linux Ubuntu (64bit). It has M.2 for Wi-Fi/BT, supporting Wi-Fi 6. It can also support TPM 2.0 for optimal cyber security (optional).
