Modular PCs are on the verge of revolutionizing the Pro AV industry, offering businesses a flexible, scalable, and cost-effective solution for their display needs. This potential was showcased by Giada at the Intel Intelligent Display Tech Workshop, held in Penang, Malaysia, from December 4-5, where the company had the honor of being invited by Intel Corporation to demonstrate its cutting-edge modular PC solutions.

As a reference designer for Intel’s SDM-L (Smart Display Module-L), Giada presented its SDM-L613 module, which is powered by Intel's Raptor Lake Core i3/i5/i7 processors. This state-of-the-art module is designed to meet the growing demands of the Pro AV market, offering key features such as:
The module features the Intel® integrated Iris® Xe GPU (Core i5/i7) and supports a maximum 8K resolution via the HDMI 2.1 video output port. The SDM (PCIe X8) connector delivers a range of connectivity options, including HDMI 2.0 (4096 x 2304 @ 60Hz), DP 1.2 (4096 x 2304 @ 60Hz), USB 3.2 Gen 1, UART, GSPI, I2C, PCIe, and SYS_FAN signals.
The Intel® Hardware Shield provides integrated, hardware-based protection for PCs, offering below-the-OS security, application and data protection, as well as advanced threat detection capabilities.
The SDM module passed the compatible tests with displays from NEC®, Panasonic®, Newline® etc.

Giada’s presentation was met with great enthusiasm, highlighting the company’s commitment to driving the future of intelligent, modular solutions in the Pro AV sector. The event was an excellent opportunity for industry leaders to come together and explore the future of digital signage and display technologies.
