Giada OPS Series
Giada demonstrated its OPS media player, plugged in Elo touch screen, at the expo. Giada, which has entered the OPS market for years, has a complete series of OPS popular products, including the newly-launched Gemini Lake player PC25, high-end Kabylake players PC67, Skylake Core OPS player P216 and CoffeeLake player which will be released soon. Giada OPS media players, well-known for its reliability and cost-effectiveness, are ideal for applications such as interactive whiteboards (IWBs) and all-in-one solutions.
The PC25, based on Gemini Lake Platform, provides 4K video output via the standard JAE interface that supports HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 standards. PC67, which adopts high-performance Intel Kaby Lake processors and supports 4K video display, is ideal for large-format displays and modern white boards. P216, powered by Intel Skylake Core-i CPU and supporting 4K video display, can be outstandingly integrated into the latest, ultra-high definition UHD LFDs (Large Format Displays) and electronic whiteboards.
Meanwhile, both PC67 and P216 support Intel vPro Technology (Optional), enabling users to realize remote-management of their media players.
Reference Designer of Intel SDM Modules
Giada, as a reference designer of Intel SDM-L modules, has launched two SDM modules, SDM-Z8350, a smaller module (109×60mm) with an entry-level processor and SDM-7300U, a larger module (110×175mm) with a high performance processor. These SDM modules provides display suppliers with an All-in One solution and helps System integraters and Independent Software Vendors in vertical markets.
SDM-Z8350 features an Intel® Atom Cherrytrail Z8350 CPU and up to 2 GB onboard memory. It is equipped with a 32G eMMC and can support two independent displays with a DP port and an HDMI port.
SDM-7300U features an Intel Kabylake Core i5 7300U CPU and supports up to 32GB DDR4 memory. The module, offering an HDMI port, can display video and images with 4k resolution.
Giada Apollo Lake Series
Giada has recently announced the AP23 series Pico boards, new additions to its Intel Apollo Lake platform products. The new 100mm x 72mm motherboards, which include two models: the AP23-E3930 and AP23-N3350, offer ideal indoor and outdoor support for industrial, retail and digital signage solutions. The Atom x5-E3930 CPU allows the AP23-E3930 to handle an extremely wide operating temperature range of -20° C to 60° C (approximately -4° F to 140° F), with appropriate airflow. While for indoor applications, Giada is offering the similarly-equipped Giada AP23-N3350, based on the Intel Celeron N3350 CPU.
Customers interested in complete solutions based on the Intel Apollo Lake platform should also take a look at other Giada products, such as VM23 and F105D.
The compact VM23 mini-PC, with an HDMI and a DP ports, features Intel Apollo Lake Celeron N3450 processor, which supports 4K display. It’s ideal as an entry-level media player or a thin client in cloud applications. The VM23’s fanless design and slim dimensions of 116 mm x 107.2 mm x 30 mm, allow inconspicuous installation virtually anywhere. F105D, powered by Intel Celeron Apollo Lake N3350/N3450 processors, supports a real 4k display and is perfect for digital signage player applications. This PC, which can support up to three independent displays simultaneously, has a wide range of applications, including digital menu boards, public kiosks, and way-finding stands.
Besides the OPS and Apollo Lake series, Giada also displayed media players for video wall, such as G330. When developing the new six-in-one Video Wall PC G330, Giada placed a great emphasis on three things: discrete, high-performance graphics, lean design and the possibility to operate the video wall PC round the clock. Thanks to the effective and quiet ventilation the PC player can run directly behind a video wall without impairing the video experience. Thus it is also ideal for operating the so-called "menu boards" that hang above the counter in fast food stands and is also suitable for shop windows, trade fair stands, information desks and event rooms. The heart of the G330 is the state-of-the-art and energy efficient Intel Core-i5-6500T (35W) together with full 4K display support.
