A Smart Locker is an advanced storage system that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology, sensors, and software to provide secure, automated, and convenient storage and retrieval of items. Unlike traditional lockers that rely on physical keys or simple PIN codes, smart lockers use digital access methods such as mobile apps, RFID cards, biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint or facial recognition), or QR codes.

Giada offer motherboard with extensive connectivity, such as GPIO pins for controlling locks and sensors, serial ports (UART, SPI, I2C) for peripherals like RFID readers, and USB ports for maintenance or external devices. Display interfaces (e.g., HDMI, LVDS) are necessary for touchscreens. It also supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and possibly cellular backup for reliable internet connectivity.

Security is paramount, given the need to protect stored items. All Giada hardware come with optional security features like Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
